IBC “Right To Know” Staff
Seminar
The IBC requires PIs working with hazardous materials in animals to inform all potential research, animal care, and other staff that may come in contact with the animals of the potential risks, procedures, and precautions associated with the hazard. Seminars on the hazard should include a brief background on the hazard and the experimental design; what will be done during its use in the specific experiment; what the potential risks are; and how to properly handle the hazard.
