The Temple University Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is responsible for the regulation and monitoring of all University research that involves recombinant DNA, infectious agents, and other biohazards. The IBC must ensure that all federal regulatory requirements are met by the University. The Office of the Vice President for Research is responsible for ensuring that the policies and directives of the IBC are enforced.
