The Office of Clinical Research, under the leadership
of Henry Parkman, M.D. (center left in the picture),
is composed of the following: John Gaughan,
Ph.D. (right), Senior Director of Biostatistics
and Craig Pfister (center of picture),
Clinical Trials Specialist.
The Office of Clinical Research offers a wide
variety of clinical trials-related services
to the entire clinical research community at
Temple University. Services ranging from identifying
research opprtunities, designing clinical trials,
developing case report forms, preparing IRB
submissions, developing and negotiating clinical
trial budgets, regulatory filing documents,
coordinating sponsor visits, designing databases,
report preparation, monitoring trials that are
investigator-initiated, to assuming a lead in
assisting the site in preparing for both data
audits by the sponsor and FDA inspections.
