Sponsored Project Administration (SPA)
The SPA staff assist faculty and administrators
with developing budgets, obtaining university
assurances, approve all proposals prior
to submission to funding source. In addition,
SPA sets up awards, develops subcontracts
and has reviewed and signed all sponsored
projects related contracts and subcontracts.
Biostatistics
Consulting Center
The Biostatistics Consulting Center provides comprehensive statistical consulting
and data analysis services to Temple researchers. High quality statistical
consulting leads to appropriate experimental design and hypothesis testing.
Calculation of sample size provides adequate power and successful experimentation.
Appropriate data analysis and interpretation ensures high quality results
and facilitates publication and regulatory review.
Technology
Transfer
The Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) is
charged with the commercialization of inventions
resulting from University research. OTT assists
inventors with their invention disclosures,
oversees law firms carrying out the patenting
process, and licenses University patents companies
that will commercialize them. In addition,
OTT manages thedistribution of royalty income
to inventors, departments, and schools.

Temple University's research community.

The Office of Strategic Initiatives &
Corporate Relations develops closer linkages
with industry, facilitates new multidisciplinary
research initiatives, business building and
promotes entrepreneurial culture within Temple.
