The Central Animal Facility, in consultation with the IACUC, has prepared a Manual of Standard Operating Procedures (CAF Manual). This living document defines SOPs for everything from personal hygiene, to rat and mouse husbandry, to animal identification. New and continuing SOPs are reviewed and approved on a monthly basis by a subcommittee of the IACUC.
